Training Scheme
 

The Southern Sporting Training Scheme has been training motorcyclists for over 70 years. All the instructors are professionally trained volunteers who do not receive any form of payment. Any surplus funds are re-invested to support the Training Scheme in order to provide a low cost, effective and safe way to learn motorcycling skills. The Southern Sporting Training Scheme is Driving Standards Agency (DSA) approved with respect to CBT Tuition and Post Test Motorcycle training. We can offer:

Training takes place most Saturday afternoons at Isleworth Town Primary School between 2pm and 4.30pm

Price List *

CBT Only
Booking fee of £15 plus £25 a week for training until you pass CBT (Average time 4 weeks). Price includes bike hire, insurance, fuel and free tea, coffee and biscuits. Weekly fees must be paid in advance and training weeks must be continuous unless agreed at the time of enrolment.

Training to Test Standard
This is only available for those pupils who already have a valid CBT certificate and is intended to assist the pupil reach the DSA practical (Part II) test standard. A weekly fee of £25 is charged. Bike hire is available at no extra charge subject to availability

Post Test Motorcycle Training (Enhanced Rider Scheme)
Available to riders with a full licence. Please contact our Training Scheme Organiser (Ian Horne) for further details and pricing

* Training is only open to members of the Southern Sporting MCC. The prices above include training membership of the club. Training is usually on a one to one basis.
